Facebook lets you "save" videos, but that only adds them to a list inside your account. To have the actual file on your computer, say for a class, a presentation or a backup, you can download it with Velotu from any browser.
Step by step
- On facebook.com, open the video. If it's in your feed, click the post's date to open it on its own page.
- Copy the URL from your browser, or use Share → Copy link.
- Open velotu.com/en/facebook and paste the link.
- Click Download and choose HD or SD.
- The video lands in your Downloads folder as an MP4 with audio.

Links that work
- facebook.com/reel/… (reels)
- facebook.com/…/videos/… (videos from Pages or public profiles)
- facebook.com/share/v/… and fb.watch/… (share links)
If Facebook asks you to log in
When a video comes from a private group or a profile that only shares with friends, Facebook won't show it without an account, and Velotu can't download it either. If the video is public, try copying the link again from the Share button.
