Yes. You can download as many videos as you want without paying. The site is supported by ads: the highest quality of each video unlocks after a short 15-second ad; every other quality downloads right away.

No. Velotu works in your phone or computer browser. We don't ask for sign-up, email or personal data.

Choose the social network above, copy the video link from the app or website, paste it into the box and press Download. You will see the available qualities; tap the one you want and the file is saved to your device.

MP4, with video and audio. We show every quality the post offers: from 144p up to 1080p, 1440p or 4K when the original video has it. Each option shows the approximate file size.

Yes. In the Instagram section, Photos tab, you can download the photos from a post in their original resolution, including carousels.

Yes. On Android the video is saved to the Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari saves it to the Files app (Downloads folder); from there you can open it and choose Save Video to move it to Photos.

No. Velotu can only access public posts, just like anyone who isn't logged in. Private videos, private accounts and closed groups can't be downloaded.

We don't keep the videos you download: when a file needs to be prepared on our server, it is deleted as soon as your download finishes (or within an hour at the latest). We don't track what you download or ask for personal information.

It depends on how you use them and where you live. Downloading your own content, or content you have the author's permission to watch offline, is generally fine. Don't repost or use other people's videos commercially without their permission, and follow each platform's terms.

The most common causes are: the post is private or was deleted, it is age- or country-restricted, or the link is not a video. Social networks also change how they work often; if a link that should work fails, try again in a few minutes.
